William Filman Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Filman (Newmarket, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Eddie Filman and Barbara McKenzie; and his daughter Susan Turner (Terry). He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Filman and Linda Gunby (Mark); his brother Ronnie Filman (Cathy); his grandchildren, Sean (Brittany), Darcy, Carly (Drew), Matthew, Jessica, Larissa and Amanda (Dan); and his great grandchildren, Colson, Wyatt and Eloise.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society. The family has chosen to send donations to ALZHEIMER SOCIETY OF CANADA - SOCIETE ALZHEIMER DU CANADA.
