He is survived by : his wife Jean; and his children, Christine Sylvie Ann Gairdner, Emilie Ruth Madeleine Gairdner, Ruthann Constance Attia (Paul), William Harland Gairdner (Sarah) and Franklin Tennant Gairdner (Nicole).
