He was predeceased by: his brother Yahya (Sharon). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Young; his children, Sanna, Osman (Julie) and Murad (Shantel); his grandchildren, Maya, Desmond and Ezmi; and his uncle Guida.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Patterson Funeral Home Ltd. (6062 Main St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Delphi Banquet Hall (4414 Portage Rd, Niagara Falls, ON L2E6A4).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Project SHARE and the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by Zak's family.
