Assunta Deguida Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Assunta Deguida (Niagara Falls, Ontario), who passed away on January 10, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Biagio DeGuida; her children, Michael DeGuida and Lucy Janssen (William); her siblings, Giuseppe (Pasqualina), Nicola DeMizio (Carmela) and Immacolata Luciano (Alessandro); and her parents-in-law, Angelina (Nicola), Assunta (Pasquale) and Giuseppe (Addolorata).

She is survived by: her children, Vincenza Jones (Mike), Antoniette, Anthony (Jenny) and Paul DeGuida (Shilo); and her siblings, Mike (Regina), Albert DeMizio (Maria) and Agnese Collandrea (Domenico). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Respecting the restrictions of COVID-19 a private family visitation and Funeral Mass will take place.

In memory of Mrs. DeGuida, donations to The Niagara Health Foundation (Walker Family Cancer Centre) would be appreciated by her family.
