We bid farewell to Candida (Fragnito) Menechella (Niagara Falls, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 19, 2026 at the age of 86. Candida touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Mario; her siblings, Cosimo (Concetta), Raffaele Fragnito (Elena), Grazia Addabbo (Alberto) and Nicolina Fragnito; and her brothers-in-law, Giovanni and Cosimo Menechella.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Scaringi (Tony), Nadia, Joe (Kathy), Anthony and Julia (Leo); and her siblings-in-law, Pellegrino Fragnito, Phyllis, Luciano DiCienzo, Michelina Menechella, Victor (Lina) and Gina Menechella.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Patterson Funeral Home (6062 Main St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 24th 2026 at the Fairview Cemetery (4501 Stanley Ave, Niagara Falls, ON L2E2E8).
Donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
