Doug Caverson Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 25, 2021, at the age of 94, Doug Caverson (Niagara Falls, Ontario), born in Coniston, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Caverson and Mira Caverson; his parent-in-law Leandro; his siblings, Albino Caverson and Albina Comin (Ricardo); and his brothers-in-law, Fermo Serafino, Guido Baldin, Dino Gallina, Aldo Gallina (Nora), Angelo Giajnorio, Theo Andrews and Jim Newport.

He is survived by: his spouse Nodi Caverson (Gallina); his parent-in-law Vittoria Gallina; his children, Carol Nicholls (Scott) and Joseph Caverson (Angela); his grandchildren, Brian, Eric, Kevin, Stephen, Keaton, Aidan, Isak and Grace; his sisters, Elsa Serafino and Delia Baldin; and his siblings-in-law, Livia Gallina, Velma Giajnorio, Anna Andrews, Louie Gallina (Liz) and Daria Newport (Jack Martin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who he loved like his own children.

Respecting the restrictions of COVID-19 including the wearing of face masks, double vaccination proof and social distancing, friends are invited to join the family at the Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main St, Niagara Falls, visiting Thursday 2-6 p. m.

In memory of Mr. Caverson and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by his family.
