He is survived by: his wife Janet; his sons, John Hassall (Meladi Mathobela) and Matt Hassall (Rachelle Pinnow); his grandchildren, Miles, Sterling, Sima, Lita, Matthew, Olivia and Jake; and his nieces, Heather, Laurie (Ken), Lynn (Kirk), Janet (Jason) and Lauren.
