With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elsie Anne (Miersch) Stokoe (Niagara Falls, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Edward Stokoe; her son Tim (Camille); and her brother Walter Miersch (Eleanor). She is survived by: her children, Dennis (Jaqueline) and Lori Tice (Craig); her grandchildren, Leyland, Erin (Rannon), Lindsay (Michael), Kelly (Thomas), Sarah, Robin (Brian) and Eric; her great grandchildren, Meredith, Isaiah, Hope, Henry, Olive, Tessa, Levi, Reese, Tyson and Ella; and her siblings, Christine Day (late Milton), Paul Miersch (late Irene) and George Miersch (Susan). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Patterson Funeral Home Ltd. (6062 Main St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (6548 Dorchester Rd, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5T5). A committal service was held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lundy's Lane Cemetery (7489 Lundy's Ln, Niagara Falls, ON L2H1J8).
In memory of Elsie Stokoe, memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas More Church or Chippawa Creek at Bella Care Residence and would be appreciated by her family.
