He is survived by: his wife Luisa Roma; his children, Maria Primi (Tony), Nick (Paula) and Michael (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Michael, Marco, Daniella (David), Christina (Marcos), Isabella, Joseph and Francesca; and his siblings, Anita Montagano (Gino), Lilla Kostelac (Frank), Anthony Merante (Bill) and Lou Merante (Donna).

Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Patterson Funeral Home Ltd. (6062 Main St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9). A vigil service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Scapular Church (6557 Thorold Stone Rd, Niagara Falls, ON L2J 1B2).
