He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Anica 'Anna'; his daughters, Joanne MacInnis (Jim) and Margaret Pitura (Jason); his grandchildren, Julia and Michael MacInnis; and his siblings, Maria As (Tine) and Frank Penca. He was also cherished by his family and friends.

In memory of John, memorial contributions may be made to the Niagara Health Foundation (Walker Family Cancer Center) and would be appreciated by his family.
