He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Arsenault and Thelma Brown; his sister Anne Marie Evans; and his daughter Diana McDermott. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Arsenault; his siblings, Gerald Arsenault and Judy Vickers (Jim); his brother-in-law Brian Evans; his daughters, Jennifer Witt (Isaac), Amanda Dzuima (Bill), Patricia Elkins (Jim), Dawn Arsenault (Denis) and Sherryl Witt (Charles); his son-in-law Jack McDermott; his adoptive son RJ Orr; his grandchildren, Sarah Yurkiw (Wayne), Nicole Arsenault (Jeremy), Larissa Witt, Raebecca Lipson (Josh), Andrew Beauregard, Danielle Beauregard, Conor Elkins and John Lipson; and his great grandchildren, Colter Arsenault and Adeline Anderson. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the St. Patrick's Hall (4673 Victoria Ave, Niagara Falls, ON L2E4B8). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph's name to the St. Catharines General Hospital Dialysis Unit.
