She was predeceased by: her husband Frank; her parents, Grete Reichel and Kaspar Reichel; and her sister Gunda Twardzik. She is survived by: her daughters, Anneliese Burke, Renate Colosimo (Pete) and Linda Hales (Rick); her grandchildren, Matthew Burke (Amanda), Adam Burke, Liam, Graeme Hales, Nick Colosimo (Irene) and Ken Colosimo (Jackie); and her sibling Marga Twardzik.
