Linda Marie (Matthews) McKaig Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Marie (Matthews) McKaig (Niagara Falls, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley QC (Malcolmson) and Francis Matthews Q. C.; her siblings, Maureen Bator (late Paul), Mary Wilkes, Michael Matthews, Christopher and Gertrude; her stepmother Mary (Knowlton); and her aunt Gert.

She is survived by: her children, Christopher (Sara Caverley) of Ottawa, Jennifer Speed (Shawn) of Clearwater and Elizabeth McKaig (Woody McKaig) of Ancaster; her siblings, Tricia Marchese (Brian), Joan Crown (late Ray), Margaret Matthews, Paul (Trudy), Tim (Judy Dakers), Joe (Annalea), Brian (Debbie) and Tom (Linda); and her sister-in-law Judy Matthews.

Donations to Hospice Niagara, in Linda's honour, would be appreciated by the family.
