The memory of Lusia Zarra (Niagara Falls, Ontario), who passed away on August 22, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luca Conte and Rosa Conte; her siblings, Anna Dell Riccio (Bino), Gerardina Sibilia (Antonio), Giuseppina Guarino (Nicole) and Michele Conte (Rosetta); and her brothers-in-law, Benito Zarra (Rosetta), Antonio Canero and Marciano Racioppi.
She is survived by: her spouse Giuseppe'Joe'Zarra; her children, Mary McEwen (late Dean) and Rosey Hayle; her grandchildren, Christopher McEwen, Ashley Johnson (Ryan) and Jason Hayle; and her sisters-in-law, Rosetta Canero, Pasqualina Racioppi and Geraldina D'Amico (Vince). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In memory of Lusia, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Niagara and Heart Niagara and would be appreciated.
