With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matija Yagar (Niagara Falls, Ontario), who passed away on April 19, 2018 at the age of 105. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, John, Kata, Manda, Marija, Anka and Ivka.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Yagar (Bonnie), Sam Yagar (Caroline), Mary Petura and Milan Yagar (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Nikki, Anthony, Hayden, Will, Michael, Ben, Emma, Owen, Liam, Maya, Olivia and Mia; and her husband Joe. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Princess Margaret Cancer Hospital would be appreciated by her family.
