He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie; his parents, Jaan Karner and Heljo Karner; and his siblings, Tonu Karner, Maie Gibson (Larry) and Hilda Reid.
He is survived by: his children, Bryant Karner (Amanda) and Tiffany Mafi (Parham); his grandchildren, Carleigh, Mackenzie Karner, Elena and Bardia Mafi; his brother Alexander Karner (Aimee); and his siblings-in-law, Lynn Karner and Donnie Reid. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
