Michael Edward is survived by: friend Meta Purdon; parents, Joseph Szumowski and Jadwiga Szumowski; siblings, Teresa (Steve), Victoria (Luc), Martin (Susan) and Henry; stepchildren, Steve (Jennifer) and Laurie (Robert); and sibling-in-law Shirley.
