He was predeceased by: his parents, Vito Paola and Elvira Di Paola; and his siblings, Gerardo Di Paola (Raffaella) and Rosa Gentile (Pietro). He is survived by: his wife Lorenza Di Paola; his children, Vito Di Paola (France), Elvi Petriello (Luigi) and Tony Di Paola (Elisabetta); his grandchildren, Joseph, Nicholas (Cristina), Rosaly (Joseph), Andrew, Anthony (Taylor) and Vito (Sandy); and his siblings, Mike Di Paola (Olga), Pat Di Paola (Grace) and Antonietta Di Paola (Jerry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Patterson Funeral Home Ltd. (6062 Main St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Scapular (6557 Thorold Stone Rd, Niagara Falls, ON L2J 1B2).
