He was predeceased by: his wife Alice; his sons, Harold and Réjean; and his siblings, Aline, Louis-Pierre, Ronald, Elzéar, Alcide and Rosaire.
He is survived by: his children, Ginette Doig (Steven) and Nelson (Dory); his grandchildren, Bert, David, Lorie Anne (Marcus), Joanne (Chris), Valérie (Tyler), Jamie (Samantha) and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Oliver, Maxime, Kayla, Noah and Levi; his brother Yvon (Réjeane); his sister-in-law Bernadette; his nephew Gerry Charette; and his pet Sasha.
The family will receive friends at Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 1-3 p.m., with the service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Niagara Falls Humane Society.
