Robert Van McKay Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2025, at the age of 69, Robert Van McKay (Niagara Falls, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Robert Van had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Robert Van may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pentland and Della Pentland; and his siblings, Mark Pentland (Roseanne) and Wendy Shriver. He is survived by: his children, Will Pentland and Sam Pentland; his siblings, Brenda Ariggnello (Frank) and Mike Pentland (Anita); his uncle Cleveland Pentland (Muriel); and his daughter Dianne Cunningham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Patterson Funeral Home (6062 Main St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9).
