He was predeceased by: his parents, James Desson and Helen Desson; his brothers, Bruce Desson, Carmen Desson and Billy Desson; his father-in-law Bill Plumb; and his brother-in-law Phillip Plumb.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Plumb; his sons, Darren Desson, Ronnie Desson Jr. and Billy Desson; his grandchild Denzel; his siblings, Sonny Desson (late Carol), Bobby Desson (Betty), Mac Desson (Linda) and Jayne Ann Kitney; his mother-in-law Olive Plumb; his sister-in-law Jennifer Plumb; and his godson Daniel Plumb. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
