She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Best; her parents, Miriam "May" Austin and Leslie Austin; her sister Carole Ford; her brother-in-law Jim Ford; her nephew Kenneth Ford; her brother Edward "Ted" Austin; her sister-in-law Carol Austin; her nephew William "Bill" Austin; her sister Shirley Hammer; her brother-in-law Gordon "Sonny" Hammer; her sister Nancy Dayman; and her siblings-in-law, Fred Dayman, Robert "Bob" Best (Marilyn), Charlie Best and Marian Proctor.

She is survived by: her children, Leslie McLeod (Dennis), Howard Best (Cyndy), Greg Best (Beth) and Matt Best; her grandchildren, Dan McLeod, Matthew McLeod (Nicole), Stephen McLeod (Ashley), Robyn Petryshyn (Bryan), James Best, Stephanie Jackson (Jason), Erica Best (Nick), Bradley Best (Alexandra) and Jaelyn Best; and her great grandchildren, Nova Rose McLeod, Ayla McLeod, Avery McLeod, Jennie McLeod, Elyse Petryshyn, Colby Petryshyn and Alexis Rose Jackson. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
