He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruth Eaton; his brother Doug Goad; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Russell, Harold Russell (Margaret), Gord Russell (Marion), Walt Russell, Ron Eaton (Patricia), Evelyn Sieber (Bill), Shirley Holland (Art), Edna Russell, Betty Russell and Carol Magee.

He is survived by: his wife Heather Sanders; his son Kenny of Scarborough; and his siblings-in-law, Irene Russell, Darlene Eaton, Flo Russell of Pickering and Roy Russell of Fenelon Falls. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
