He was predeceased by: his daughter Sandy; his parents, Carmelo Menechella and Mariantonia Menechella; his in-laws, Rocco Luigi and Maria Donata Girolamo; his brothers, Giovanni Menechella, Mario Menechella (Candida) and Cosmo Menechella; and his in-laws, Raphaele (Lucia), Grazia (Pellegrino), Giuseppina (Umberto), Arturo and Roberto (Lina).

He is survived by: his wife Carolina "Lina"; his children, Carmelo "Carmen" Menechella (Julia Fabiano), Maria Zerafa (Jason) and Rico Menechella (Ashley); his grandchildren, Victoria (Sergio Bello), Giulia, Anthony, Matteo, Julian, Luca, Vittorio and Roman; his sister Phyllis DiCienzo; and his siblings-in-law, Michelina Menechella, Luigina "Gina" Menechella, Vanda Vella and Vittorio Girolamo (Giuseppina).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Patterson Funeral Home Ltd. (6062 Main St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (6548 Dorchester Rd, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5T5). A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (4501 Stanley Ave, Niagara Falls, ON L2E4Z3).
