He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Edward and Eleanor May; and his brother George Robert. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Nixon; his daughters, Lisa Jones (Neil) and Nancy Clayton (Michael); his grandchildren, Nathan, Megan, Emily and Cameron; his great grandchild Aryah; and his siblings, Patricia, Sheila and Peter.
