It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yuko Hoshi (Niagara Falls, Ontario), who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Mitsuo Wada and Reiko Wada; and her siblings-in-law, Kunie Hoshi and Emiko Hoshi. She is survived by : her husband Henry Harumasa; her brother Hitoshi Wada (Noriko); and her in-laws, Susumu Hoshi, Tomiko Takahashi (Isao), Sadame Hoshi (Kazuko) and Asai Hoshi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Peter Masaji Ono wrote a sympathy message

“RIP Yuko-san... One of our closest family friends of the Ono family. The Hoshi family was the closest family to our Ono family when we were growing up in our younger years in Niagara Falls. We had many family dinner gatherings over the years, too many to count. My mom and Yuko-san were very close friends, BFFs. Thank you to Yuko-san and the Hoshi family for the many years of nostalgic memories and friendship that you gave to the Ono family for so many years.”
