He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving and Bella; and his sister Pearl Diamond. He is survived by: his spouse Lil; his sons, Steve Cohen (Joe Carlino) and Ian Cohen (Sharon); his sister-in-law Karen Swaffield (Tim); and the mother of his children Suzanne.
