He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alexander and Josephine Alexander; and his siblings, Sharon Adams, Fran Cushnie, Jacqueline Baker, Michael Alexander and Gerald Alexander.

He is survived by: his wife Erika Alexander; his children, Peter Alexander and Andrea Lamont (Jason); and his grandchildren, William Alexander, Vanessa Duncan, Hannah and Charlie Lamont. He is also survived by nephews, their spouses and children, and many cousins, and friends.
