Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Peter Penner of Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 85, on December 6, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Heinrich Penner and Margarete Penner; and his wife Maria. He is survived by: his children, Jake, Lorraine Penner, Nellie, Werner Witzke, Henry Penner, Peter Penner, John, Melissa Jo Penner, Rudy, Valentina Penner, Irene, Wilf Witzke, Mary and Dan Williamson; his grandchildren, Katherine, Jarrod, Margarete, Phil, Elizabeth, Daniel, David, Sarah, Jonathan, Rebecca, Eva, Logan, Pascal, Nathan, Alison, Emanuel, Leah, Ruth, Julian, Jeremy, Joshua, Grace, Isaiah, Leanne, Steven, Emmalee, Olivia, Maya and Jakob; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Markus and James; his siblings-in-law, Adina and Oskar Schanbacher; and his friend Pleasant Manor. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cornerstone Community Church - Orchard Campus (434 Hunter Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S1J0). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Victoria Lawn Cemetery (431 Queenston St, St. Catharines, ON L2P2Y3). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cornerstone Community Church - Orchard Campus (434 Hunter Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S1J0).
