It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Maltese (Niagara on the Lake, Ontario), who passed away on September 25, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Ruth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ruth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Dueck and Anne Dueck; and her brother Samuel. She is survived by: her husband Peter Maltese; her children, Amber Holowachuk (Dustin), Nathaniel and Kristen Schroeder (Steven); and her grandson Tyler Holowachuk.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tallman Funeral Homes (3277 King St, Vineland, ON L0R2C0). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Central Community Church (680 York Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S1J0). A reception will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
