He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Lillian; his stepmother Margaret; and his sister Betty Lonie (Bernie). He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Hannah; his sisters, Dorothy Allen (Chuck), Elaine Holler (Darrow) and Bonnie Mehlenbacher (Ken); his sons, David, Donald (Donna), Douglas (Kelly) and James (Marni); and his grandchildren, Corbin (Dani), Bronson (Becca), Dylan, Adam, Nicolas and Ashley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Benner Funeral Services inc (1105 Benner Ave, Fort Erie, ON L2A 4N8). A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1900 Thompson Rd, Fort Erie, ON L2A5M4).
