Kelly Paakkunainen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2025, at the age of 47, Kelly Paakkunainen (Nipigon, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Nora, Bruce Cote, Sulho and Sinikka Paakkunainen; his niece Emma Paakkunainen; his uncles, Spiner, Bucky and Bob; and his grandmother Jane.
He is survived by: his wife Amanda; his children, Lucy and Tyson; his parents, Betty Toth (Les Toth) and John Paakkunainen Sr.; his brother John Paakkunainen Jr. (Carolyn); his in-laws, John and Mary Blakely; and his brother-in-law Justin Blakely. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
In memory of Kelly's deep love for children and his dedication to helping youth, donations may be made to Canadian Tire Jump Start – Nipigon Branch, an organization he personally supported and believed in.
