Leo White Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Leo White of Nipigon, Ontario. Leo, born on December 30, 1941, passed away on November 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred White and Mary White; his siblings, Alfred Jr., Wallace, Cyrus, Roy (Antonia), Herbert, William, Gerald, Beverly, Alvina White and Joyce Durocher (George); his in-laws, Paul and Frances Deschamps; and his siblings-in-law, Frank, Dave, Abe Quackageesick, Clifford, Wilfred, Gilbert Deschamps, Rosaire Cormier, Eva Black (Chris), Malvina Carney (Pat), Blanche and Jean Deschamps.
He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Dreckmann (Peter), Cynthia Tuck (Billy), Johanne Quibell, Denise Atkinson (Marc Bohemier), Manon White (Ron Hiltz), Steve White (Ursula Green) and Gary White (late Sophie); his grandchildren, Amber (Fung), Xavier, Abigail, Cameron, Aidan, Jacky (Adam), April (Rob), Kirby (Kevin), Jason, Vanessa, Jessie, Cody and Emily; his sister Therese White; and his sister-in-law Mona Cormier.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home - Playter Chapel (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A reception will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home - Reception Room (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9).
