Arena Venasse Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arena Venasse in Nipissing, Ontario, born in Mattawa, Ontario, who passed away on April 29, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Arena may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Arena touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald J. Venasse; her parents, Arthur Valois and Pearl Valois; and her brother Arthur "Bunny" Valois Jr. Rena. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Lori) of North Bay, Patti O'Neil of Duncan and Gerry (Paulette) of Ottawa; and her sisters, Sonia Lamoureux of Markham and Teresa Simpson of Stoney Point. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
