It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Évangéline Laforest in Nipissing, Ontario, born in Timmins, Ontario, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Adelard Chamberlain and Mary; her husband Oscar; her siblings, Ben (Niette) and Yvonne (Eva) Demers (Leo); and her siblings-in-law, Marie (Adalbert Authier), Ernest (Donatilde), Phillipe (Dianna), Joseph (Émelda) and Albert (Rose).

She is survived by : her children, Maurice (Monique), Robert (Liliane), Diane (Bill Brownell) and Lucille (Aurèle Turmelle). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a large extended family.

Remembrance donations to the Lord's Kitchen or the Good Samaritan Inn would be greatly appreciated.
