He was predeceased by : his sister Jacqueline Smith. He is survived by : his spouse Beverley (Sothcott-Tremayne) of Nipissing; his children, Sandrene L. Monk and Tamanda N. Elia; his grandchildren, Kendra, Aiden and Kayla; his great grandchildren, Jacklin and Betty; and his sister Catherine Davey.
