He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Carol; his children, Larry (Kim), Terry (Jill) and Suzie Dorval (Guy); his sister Jackie Cook (Hugh); his stepsisters, Heather Darroch (Wayne) and Gail Ruddy (Ted); his parents, George Sharer and Elinor Sharer; and his sisters, Joy Smith (Lloyd) and Joan Nixon (Jack). He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
