He was predeceased by : his parents, Henri Mongeon and Simone Mongeon; and his siblings, Raymond, Rachelle, Roland and Bernard.

He is survived by : his wife Fernande Mongeon of Noelville; his children, Marc Mongeon (Amanda) of Monetville and Monique Touchette (Dan) of Noelville; his brother Richard Mongeon (late Christine) of Sudbury; and his grandchildren, Danique, Megan, Alexandre, Ashley, Wyatt and Emmett.
