Al touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Al’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was predeceased by: his son Ben Dugas; his brother Marvin Briggs; and his brother-in-law Les Swidrovich. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Dugas; his son Adam Dugas; his daughter-in-law Vanessa Dugas; his granddaughter Alexis Dugas; his brother Jack Anderson (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Darlene Choma (John).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Thompson Mott Funeral Home (62 Main St N, Waterford, ON N0E1Y0).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice would be appreciated.
