He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford James McIntyre and Olive Smith McIntyre; his father-in-law Richard Daggett; his siblings, Reg McIntyre and Betty Johnson; and his brother-in-law Gary David.

He is survived by: his wife Susan; his siblings, Joy David, Donelda (Edgar Leduc), David Daggett (Richard) and Debbie Daggett; his mother-in-law Marjorie Daggett; his siblings' children, Stephanie David, Melissa Leduc Zalud, Steven Zalud, Erin Joy Leduc, Amy Leduc, Daryl Daggett, Tammy Daggett, Joanne, Brent Taylor, Sarah and Kyle Calder; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael Peplinski, Zachary Campbell, Rebecca, Maxwell, Parker Lily Daggett, Bailey, Cambrie Taylor, Isla and Everley Calder.
