He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Price and Emily Price; and his sister Barbara Yvonne. He is survived by: his daughters, Lorraine and Michelle; his grandchildren, Anthony, Jo-ann, Fleury, Mitchell and Megan McCourt; his wife Linda Boufford; his stepchildren, Jennifer, Natalie and Justin; his stepgrandchildren, Zachary and Logan McMillen; his stepchildren, Grace and Sean Lyon; and his caregivers, Ashley, Robin and Nicki.

In keeping with Alan's love for dogs, donations in his memory can be made to the North Bay Humane Society or to the NBRHC kidney care.
