He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Mai; his siblings, Arthur (late Edna), Hubert (late Gilberte), Maria (late Leo), Irene (late Robert) and Aurele (late Linda); and his brother-in-law Armand (Margot).
He is survived by: his children, Richard (Theresa) and Colette Whitehead (Ralph); his grandchildren, Brent (Colleen), Andi (Chris), Richard Jr. and Sherry Dawn (Gordon); his great grandchildren, Grayson, Emerson, Clifford and Lila Rose; his sisters, Yvette (late Roland), Jeannine and Simone (Robert); and his sisters-in-law, Alma (late Gerard), Cecile (late Maxime) and Rita (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Services Ltd. (362 Airport Rd, North Bay, ON P1B8W9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Cassellholme or charity of your choice (cheques only) will be greatly acknowledged by family.
