He was predeceased by: his parents, William Laporte and Rose Laporte; and his siblings, Rene Laporte, Hector Laporte (late Marie), Orval Laporte, Cecile Demers (late Eugene), Beatrice Blondin, Margaret Perry (late Reg), Irene Auger (late Hermes), Armand Laporte and Mary Jane Bedard (late Gary).
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Villeneuve; and his brothers, Paul Laporte (Mona) and Maurice Laporte (Eunice). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
