He was predeceased by: his parents, Rowney Commanda and Beverly Commanda. He is survived by: his child Jaden Commanda; his siblings, James Commanda, Tom Commanda (Tammy), Dawna Commanda, Stephanie Commanda, Kim Commanda and Courtney Commanda (Justin); and his siblings' children, Jesse, Raven, Clover, Kayla, Kaitlyn, Joe, Patrick, Austin, Kyra, Cedar, Amber, Robin, River, Olivia and Jocelyn.

If desired, donations are suggested to the North Bay Regional Health Centre-Renal Unit and would be gratefully acknowledged by Ashley's family.
