He was predeceased by: his parents, Colleen Brooks and Lyman Brooks; and his siblings, Dianne and Tracy. He is survived by: his wife Darlene (Hummel) of North Bay; his children, Traci Malkowski (Derek) of North Bay and Spencer Brooks of North Bay; his grandchildren, Briar and Baylor Brooks-Malkowski; and his siblings, Wayne (Dianne) of Sundridge, Vicky Clelland (Terry) of Bear Valley, Deborah Anderson (late Billy) of Port Loring, Randy (Janet) of Powassan, Cindy Burbidge (Blair) of Utopia and Ricky (Rebecca) of Trout Creek. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
