He was predeceased by: his sister Maureen "Moe" Handley. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy (Sandison) of North Bay; his sons, Peter and Ross Matheson; his stepson Glenn Sim (Ali) of North Bay; and his stepgrandson Andrew Sim of Teeterville.
