It is with sadness that the passing of Catherine Theresa Bethune (North Bay, Ontario) is shared. Catherine, born on May 30, 1940, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Basil Bethune; her parents, James Hanley and Myrtle Hanley; and her siblings, Tom (Vivian), Robert, Dorothy Bethune (Fergus), Frank (Lorraine) and Monica Edwards.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sarah, Meg, Matt, Ben, Braedan, Allison, Addie, Jack, Owen and James; her siblings, Gerald (Lynn), Mary and Judith Alexander (Dan); and her siblings-in-law, Arlene Hanley and Rod Edwards.
