He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Sanders Olmsted; his parents, Reginald Ingersoll and Helen Marguerite Olmsted; his siblings, William Alfred and Joan Louise; his nephews, Ric Olmsted (Anna) and Lyndon Devaney (Gale Willgoss); and his great-nephew Scott Weston.
He is survived by: his children, Peter (Laurra), Barbara (Heather Windrem), Paul (Sandra) and Nancy; his grandchildren, Tracey LeGrand (Dave), James, Charles, Adam and William Olmsted; his sibling's children, Relf Devaney (Susan Procter) and Jill Weston (Richard); his great-nephew Eric Weston; and his pets, Panda, Bentley, Karma, Gem, Hershey and Cooper.
