He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada P. White and George White; and his siblings, Alvin White (Olive), Grace Baker, Bruce White (Ellen), Fred White (Daisy), Hazel Wardell (Jim) and Dora Welch.
He is survived by: his friends, Olga Kelly, Al and Norma Johnson; his wife Celina Marie Turcotte; his children, Stephen White (Liz), Christine Bellaire (Ronald) and Cathryn McGirr (Paul); his grandchildren, Bradley White (Ashley), Derek White (Tracey), Gregory White (Casey), Dennis Degagne (Stacey), Candace McGirr, Devin McGirr (Tessa) and Gavin McGirr; his great grandchildren, Ewen, Vanessa, Abigail, Nora, Quinn, Rowan and Gwen; and his close friend Charlotte Pinkerton (Lottie).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Services Ltd. (362 Airport Rd, North Bay, ON P1B8W9). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Jesus Church (895 Memorial Dr, North Bay, ON P1A1X9).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holy Name of Jesus Church.
