It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cyril Hector Joseph Liberty (North Bay, Ontario), who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan George Byers and Margaret Watson Hamilton; and his siblings, Telesphore (Tel), Donat (Don) and Annie.

He is survived by: his wife Elda Liberty (Byers); his siblings, Gail Andrews (Dennis) and Elaine Hastie (late Ken); his son Richard Liberty (Yvonne Charland); and his half-siblings, Emile, Ted LaLiberte and Imilda Gervais (Joseph). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
